Misty Cove

Misty Cove is a walking exploration game with a longer story spanning over the course of short tapes that the player finds by searching through the houses of an abandoned village. The game features a simple inventory, along with the ability to have the player cycle and play whatever tapes they’d like in the background while they explore and collect more, or search for the exit to this mystery…

This project was a co-creation of myself and Jess Toothman in which I provided the scripting, the writing and voice direction, and the overall game design.

Being my first project in a 3D engine, I learned how to work with 3D tools and scripts, and learned a greater understanding for how to design a game’s overall feel and pacing around its environment and content within a small 3D space.
